About Us

Sunset Silhouettethe stir and the fry
Our day trips started out as an attempt to enjoy life outside of the typical tourist spots in the Orlando area. It's not easy; we can definitely attest to that. But there are indeed interesting sections in this State to explore that are not somehow related to Disney, Universal, or the Busch theme park families.

When the trips became more frequent, we realized that they should probably be documented, even if it's just for our own sake. And that maybe, just maybe, there are other people living in this area that would like to know if these places are worth checking out, or not.

Thus, Stir Fry Adventures was born.

As to the origin of the name, well, contact us, and we might tell you. =)

Feel free to also let us know of any places that you think we should explore. We are always open to suggestions.

stephanie
Born and raised in Pennsylvania, Stephanie is no stranger to World travel, having been to places like Australia, Israel, and parts of Africa. She is a certified diver and has spent her fair share in, out, and around the water for various reasons. Even though she spent most of her younger years in smaller towns, one would be at fault for underestimating her openness and quickness at adapting to different cultures.

She has been living in the Orlando area for about 7 years and has had plenty of exposure to the various theme parks and what the city itself has to offer. Driven by her sense of adventure and passion for life, she is determined to see and experience what the Earth has to offer.

rayni
With parents that love to travel, Rayni (pronounced rye-knee) had the pleasure of traveling to various countries around the South-East Asia region starting at an early age. Too early, in fact, because the memories have faded. Road trips around the US then became commonplace when her older brothers started attending college in this vast nation. She soon followed suit by attending college in Seattle and has never looked back since.

She has lived in the Orlando area for about 7 years, and considers it the smallest city she's ever lived in. As a result, boredom set in rather quickly. And now, that, along with her curiosity and passion for photography, fuel her desire to travel and explore as much as she possibly can.
